Frit - the piece to the left is how it starts - then it is ground to 2 sizes of grains-

Stringers are thin strands of glass I create by putting a strip in a vice - firing up the torch - getting the glass soft and pulling it with pliers!

 The color pallette

I use Spectrum 96 glass--

It comes in sheets 24" x 48" -

these are the basic Cathedrals - or transparent colors
