I am first to admit that I sometimes get carried away with color combinations in Fish.
The Fish usually have over 20 pieces of glass. There are line details that are called stringers. I make these by cutting a narrow piece of black glass. This is placed in a vise to steady it. I then take a torch and soften the glass. As it reaches temperature, I pull the glass with ordinary pliers through the air. The faster I pull, the finer the string of glass. Sometimes you can still see where the pliers grasped the hot glass.
One of the constants of all Fish are the red lips. I started detailing the fish with the lips about 2002. A customer custom ordered three fish with the red lips. I liked it as a detail so much the lips became a part of all fish!

| Single Fish are available as a sun catcher as well as a wind chime. The bodies are about 7" lips to tail and 7" fin to fin. As a chime - they are about 7' wide and 18" long. | |
| The "Big Fish" are about 9-10" lips to tail with descending sizes in the 5 smaller fish that hang below the main body. Total length is about 40". No two fish hit against another fish but are carefully arranged to separate the glass pieces. | |
| The fish are great decorative accents inside the home. As an outside element the Fish colors are stand outs for any home. | |
| All chimes are strung with coated 7 strand stainless steel which is more durable than many other materials. Sun rot is not a problem. Typically there is no rusting. | |
And then, I decided to explore other Fish designs. So the "Long Fish" were created. Not usually a chime (but possible if requested) these fun fish are about 12- 14" lips to tail and 6" from fin to belly.
Feel free to ask for particular color combinations and designs. I can email photos of color combinations and designs for your review.
